Another day, another exciting field trip for my students! This time, we embarked on a culinary journey to Parma and Modena, uncovering the secrets behind two iconic Italian treasures: Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and authentic balsamic vinegar.
Witnessing the entire production process, from fresh milk to aged wheels for cheese and grape must to aged barrels for vinegar, was truly fascinating. Needless to say, the day wouldn't be complete without putting our knowledge to the test with a delicious tasting!
